Most of you who read this will have probably received an email from my gmail account. This email was a prank pulled on me that went wrong. The email was sent to my entire gmail address book, (so now you all know who I talk to…) instead of my most ‘frequently mailed’. Its subject and its content are entirely false.
If you have received this email, please disregard it and any further replies on that subject. If you wish to reply to it, do NOT reply all to the thread. It was emailed to many corporate emails, organisations, UTS lecturers, staff and academics, and a lot of people (including members of my family) who I assume don’t really care for the added spam. I have already received some indication of frustration (and others, amusement) on this matter.
I sincerely apologise if anyone was inconvenienced by the matter.
The person in question is known to me, and the matter will be dealt with. Thank you all for signs of support, and I can hope that we all look back at this and one day laugh.
I must thank Angelo and Andy Halliday for realising something went wrong and having the guts to tell people to stop.
